A nice splash of color this morning.
It's been fairly dreary the last several days, so it was was nice to have this little bit of drama behind downtown Anchorage this morning. It didn't last long.

We've had a nice long run of brilliant days with bright blue skies and boiling clouds over the ridges above our home in Bear Valley. Yep, this is where we live.
The days are rapidly getting longer, and the sunsets are getting more intense. Last night, about 8pm local, heading to the airport to pick up Devany, I just had to stop and grab a couple quick pictures of the sunset over Cook Inlet.
We set a new high-temperature record yesterday here in Anchorage, so it's time for this snowshoe hare to get changing into his summer colors. We're starting to see a lot more of them around the house, which is great. Hopefully, the lynx population will be on the rise again.
You just know it's going to be a pretty good day :) Clouds at sunrise over the Chugach.
