Happy 4th--and 5th, of July!
Okay, so it's tough to do fireworks in Anchorage when they start at 11:50 pm and still have to fight the bright sunset. Maybe we should just save them until Winter Solstice instead ;)
I think Boo-boo missed a meal.
Sitting at the kitchen table this morning when a cow moose and her newborn calf came bolting out of the neighbor's driveway and headed up the street above our place. Minutes later this guy came out. I think he was chasing the calf and gave up. He walked up our driveway, stuck out his tongue at me then disappeared into the woods.

A lovely, full circle halo around the sun this afternoon. Gorgeous!
Denali playing "Peak-a-boo" at 1 am.
The light show at 1 am this morning with just the peak of Denali showing above the clouds. This is about as dark as it gets in Anchorage during the summer.
