The yard crew was back for another quick trim this afternoon.
Back to Denali National Park.
Just back from our July visit to Denali and as usual, our favorite place in Alaska did not disappoint. We got there on Thursday, July 6th after the 6-hour drive from Anchorage. After finding a spot at Teklanika campground we immediately loaded up the mountain bikes onto one of the shuttle buses and headed into the park. Boy, did we have an interesting trip! Okay, so it's tough to do fireworks in Anchorage when they start at 11:50 pm and still have to fight the bright sunset. Maybe we should just save them until Winter Solstice instead ;)
I think Boo-boo missed a meal.
Sitting at the kitchen table this morning when a cow moose and her newborn calf came bolting out of the neighbor's driveway and headed up the street above our place. Minutes later this guy came out. I think he was chasing the calf and gave up. He walked up our driveway, stuck out his tongue at me then disappeared into the woods.
