A gangly young cow moose in the backyard this afternoon trimming the bushes for me.

Look who came for a visit.
I just happened to walk up to the top of the driveway when this guy came walking up the ditch just below me. We've been watching this bull grow up in the neighborhood for several years now. He's starting to grow a nice rack, and at this rate, he's going to be a big one in a couple more years.
10:30 pm.
This show never gets old.
Bears on the stairs ;)
It's not every day you look out the front window to see movement on the front stairs and realize it's Mama Bear and 2 cubs, not the FedEx guy! By the time I was able to grab the camera Mom was already in the trees and I had just enough time to grab a couple quick shots of the cubs before they disappeared into the thick stuff. What fun!
What a glorious sunset.
11pm. Some wispy clouds down in the bowl and a big cargo jet headed out from Anchorage International climbing into a brilliant sky.
