Our winning streak continues!

Another night of auroral magic.  This time she teased us again early, then the first bright display of the night happened around 10:25 pm, followed by another really strong show at 11:40 pm--this one special with bright pink bands.  The final display of the night was around 12:40 am this morning (Friday).  An interesting night as none of these lasted very long at all--5 to 10 minutes at the most and then she'd quiet down quickly, leaving just a faint trace of aurora in the sky until suddenly she'd explode again.   Fun night.

2nd night in a row.

Another show early this morning around 12:30 am.  We actually saw Aurora in Anchorage as early as 7:45 pm, which is crazy early for us.  The intense action after midnight lasted only a couple of minutes, and then she settled down.  There were very strong aurora last night visible all the way down into Wisconsin, and Canada got a great show, but she must have been tired when she finally got to Alaska because this was as strong as it got before I gave up at 2 am.  Always a treat.
