An auroral welcome to Alaska.
We had a friend from Washington State here on her last night, and jet-lagged friends from Atlanta that had just flown in on their very first trip to Alaska, so Lady Aurora decided to really put on a nice early show for them.

Oops, guess I slept through the strong stuff ;)
Evidently, I missed the stronger part of this mornings show. One of my Aurora Alert apps went off at 1am, but by the time I got outside to shoot, this is as strong of a display as I got. Stayed out until 2:30am, but this bit only lasted about 5 minutes.
