It finally looks like we live in Alaska again.

We really haven't had any snow to speak of since October.  In the Anchorage area, there hasn't been enough snow to set track at the cross-country ski areas all winter and it's been driving us nuts.  Hopefully, that ended last night!  We got a good 6" up here in Bear Valley, and today it's just gorgeous.  A winter wonderland.  Now we pray that this doesn't immediately melt like the few snowfalls we've had this winter.

Good to see you again. It's been far too long.

Haven't had the chance to shoot any decent aurora in almost a month.  Early this morning we had a pretty decent show that started around 1:30 am.  The good stuff lasted for about an hour.  A couple of really quick waves came through showing pink at the bottom.  These last for only about 20-30 seconds at the most.
