We had some very welcome visitors right next to the house this afternoon. One of our local black bears had three cubs last year, including two that were a pretty rare cinnamon color. Happy to report that Mom and all three cubs look very healthy. The cubs have at least doubled in size since last year. They found a squirrel nest and spent the afternoon cleaning out his left over food supply.
First motorhome trip of the year down to Seward this past weekend. Wild and windy and rain most of the time, but it's always a fun visit and we got to see the first whale of the year in Resurrection Bay.
