Another night of the aurora teasing us here in Anchorage. She keeps showing up just bright enough to justify getting all geared up and heading outside while it’s just above zero, all the while hoping she’ll climb higher off the horizon and put on a great show. This is the forth night in a row where she just hasn’t quite done it.
The view of Denali from above the ice-fog on this clear, cold day. It almost feels like a real Alaska winter this year!
It’s been months since we’ve seen aurora in Anchorage, so last nights show was nice to see, even if it didn’t amount to much. The forecast is saying we should have much stronger aurora tonight if it stays clear.
