It finally feels like we're living in Alaska again.
-1ºf this morning, lots of new fluffy snow on the ground. This is how winter in Alaska is supposed to look.

Finally! First Aurora of the season.
It hasn’t been a great winter so far for aurora viewing here in Anchorage—in fact last night was the first I’ve seen. It started around 11pm and I gave up at 1am. She never climbed very high above the horizon, but I’m sure the folks up in Fairbanks and further north had a great show. At least we got to see her again.

What an incredible show around 9:40am. The intense color only lasted a couple of minutes.
