The road definitely taken.
No wonder the Seward Highway from Seward to Anchorage is consistently voted one of the most scenic drives in the United States. Driving home this morning after working on the boat for a couple of days in Seward, this is what it was like.

First Aurora of the 2021-22 season.
I finally got to see my first aurora of the season here in Anchorage and it put on a nice show starting around 11pm local. There was one pretty intense burst with some nice pink bands that only lasted for less than a minute just before midnight. A very nice way to start the aurora season. Hoping it’s going to be a good one. Click on each picture to see full-screen with captions.
