Snow Moose.
We sure are getting dumped on early this year. 6 1/2” of snow last night. Mama moose at the top of the driveway as the snow started coming down.

A remarkable late season visit to the yard.
Had some unexpected visitors in the yard early this evening. Momma Cinnamon Black bear and her two cubs hung around the yard for quite a while, mainly eating the leftover berries in the trees. All three, especially Mom look good and healthy as they get ready to hibernate for the winter. A bit surprised to see them this late.

The road definitely taken.
No wonder the Seward Highway from Seward to Anchorage is consistently voted one of the most scenic drives in the United States. Driving home this morning after working on the boat for a couple of days in Seward, this is what it was like.
