The first lynx we’ve had in the yard this year. A young one sporting some jewelry. It’s nice when it’s still full daylight at 9:30pm so you can get these shots.

First bear of the spring.
I’ve been spending a lot of time in Seward this spring working on our boat, so I’ve missed the first bears of the year here in the yard. Came back to Anchorage for the weekend and this boo-boo came by this morning to say welcome home.

Alaska Geographic Fundraiser Cruise in Kenai Fjords National Park
Saturday night we joined the Alaska Geographic Society on a fundraiser cruise in the Kenai Fjords aboard one of Major Marines’ newest ships, the Spirt of Matushka.
