It’s rutting season for the moose and our local big boy decided to take out some frustration on a little tree next to the house. The rut sure makes them crazy!

We're off to a great aurora season!
What a night. The aurora started really early around 9:30pm and just kept building throughout the night. It would ebb and flow, then suddenly explode into dancing streamers of light. I finally had to give up at 2am. Click on the images to see full screen.
